To make these delicious puffy pancakes you need a special griddle with lots of semi-spherical depressions in it. It is quite similar to the equipment used to make khanom krok, but you flip during cooking.

Add some icing sugar, butter and chocolate sauce and you have a fluffy crispy treat. These came from a street stand, but pancake restaurants sometimes also offer them.
