High up in the Heron Tower in London you can find SUISHISAMBA (their caps, not mine!). Tucked below the oft discussed Duck and Waffle, the restaurant offers “a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine”.

Street Feast, Dalston Yard
I feel bad.
I have not written a post in two months, and I’ve barely written any this year.
It’s not that I don’t have anything to post about, nor that I don’t have the time. I just don’t seem to have gotten around to it.
My crapness aside, let’s talk about Street Feast.
Sushi Nara, Guildford
I love my research. I’m not one of those people who likes to turn up somewhere and randomly pick a place to stay or eat. I like to KNOW it’s going to be good before I go.
That’s not to say I don’t dive into desirable looking eateries should I happen across them. It just means I nearly always have a destination or two in my pocket.
The other night H and I were in Guildford and in need of food.
While I was running through the various Guildford eateries in my mind, H mentioned he had walked past a sushi/Korean place earlier. My brain spooled for a moment and I couldn’t place it which intrigued me, so we headed over.
Getting Up to Date
I’m painfully conscious that I’ve not posted for a while.
Don’t imagine for a minute I’ve been nowhere worth writing about. I’ve just been incredibly bad at remembering to take photos, distracted by the fun and games of Christmas and also been buying a house.
I shall compensate with a whistle-stop tour of some of the highlights.
Kayal, West Byfleet
After my recent enjoyable (if awkwardly lonely!) meal at Travancore, I decided it was only fair to try out the other South Indian restaurant in West Byfleet – Kayal (40 Station Approach)
We had the benefit of a 20% off voucher, picked up at a recent food festival in Woking, and so H and I decided to go for Sunday lunch.
