Some of my turnip seeds have germinated. They look utterly dull, quite unhealthy and generally a bit grumpy.
I am devastated to report that frost snuck into my greenhouse and selectively killed one tomato plant and one sweetcorn plant.
Last year I left my previous career to move into horticulture. I’m very much in the learning stage at the moment, but am trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible for the future.
As you may deduce, I am particularly interested in edible plants, both cultivated and foraged. I’ve therefore decided to focus some posts on my edible gardening exploits this year.
Life got in the way of my continuing vegan series, and after undertaking Veganuary, my intake of new vegan products has been much reduced.
Rather than slowly trail off, I decided to do a final summary post for the run, with a few last reviews and comments.
