Of all the new takeaways to open nearby, I was not expecting a Malaysian. I spotted Pair A Dice while driving past one day, and made a mental note to look it up. One solo trip later, while H was away, then I dragged him there the following week to witness the miracle.
A few years ago when I visited Malaysia, I wrote a number of posts about some of the amazing food H and I ate out there.
Since then, I’ve been keeping an eye out for places to get some of my favourites in the UK.

Since my Thailand post indicating my suspicion of coconut milk desserts, and my subsequent retraction, I have happily been eating the odd dessert of this type here and there.
Cendol (pronounced “chendol”) is another such creation, though this time pushing me to the limit with the addition of beans.
